changing our songwriting habits
A songwriting Course to help you get out of the rut of writing the same song over and again.
Why do all my songs sound the same?
To Get out of the songwriter’s rut:
Of writing the same song over and over again, we need to first recognize some of the habits we have formed, both good and bad.
The next step is to adopt an openness to change.
Each lesson in this course is a prompt to consider an alternative action or step in your songwriting process.
Are you willing to be stretched a little?
Wouldn’t you like to write a song that others around you recognized as something new or Fresh?
If so, then this might be the course for you.
Changing Our Songwriting Habits includes 90 minutes of video training, 17 different lessons and a whole bunch of pro tips and exercises to help you break free from this ‘sameness’ rut.
If you only change one habit, then your songwriting process is evolving.
What if you could change not 1 but 2 or 3 habits? For more information on the course click the Learn More Button.
“I’m Stuck
in a Rut”
-
This course was designed for people who have been writing songs for a while. They have a pretty good sense of how to write a song but can’t find a way of writing something new or fresh. If all your songs pretty much sound the same, then this course might help you to change that. If however you have never written a song before, this course may not be right for you.
-
What if you could pick up a few new practices for: writing better and or different lyrics? Or discovering a way to write a melody that’s new and interesting? Or learn a different perspective on chords and harmony, on sounds and instruments and time and beats? Would that be worth investing in? Within the 90 minutes if video training and all the written lessons and resource materials, you’ll have access to pro-tips and practices that pro-songwriters use everyday.
-
I suggest you take your time and focus on the lessons and pro-tips that resonate with you the most. The courses will stay up here on line and you can return to them as many times as you like. Work at your own pace and try to put into practice one pro-tip or lesson before moving on to the next one.
-
Then consider doing a Mentor Session with me. This would be an hour long coaching session on Google Meet where we work on your songs or writing process together. If that’s of interest, book a session and let’s find a time to work together.
